Subsidiaries

Our processing subsidiaries are some of the largest customers of Saarstahl AG. They process several hundred thousand tons of the Group’s own wire rod and bar steel production every year and are among the leading companies in their product areas in Germany and abroad. Products made of bright steel and drawn wire are supplied worldwide to customers in the automotive and mechanical engineering sectors as well as to customers in the construction and consumer goods industries. Highly advanced diesel injection systems, tensioning systems for onshore wind turbines, steel springs for agricultural machinery and armouring for submarine cables are just a few of the end applications manufactured from the products of the Saarstahl subsidiaries.
