Cold heading steel grades
Unsurpassed expertise in fasteners
Fasteners used for heavy-duty applications require special load-bearing capacity. Our high-quality cold heading grades are used in these cases as the preliminary material for production of
- Screws
- Bolts
- Nuts
- Rivets
These fasteners are primarily used in the automotive industry and in the construction of machinery and mechanical systems. They are also an important component in the construction of wind turbines. The railway industry uses sleeper screws made from our wire rod for track construction. The range of grades includes
- Non-allowed quality steels
- Boron-alloyed special steels
- Non-alloyed and alloyed special steels
We continue to develop our technologies in order to offer fastener manufacturers a competitive advantage. These include double thermomechanical rolling (DTM), Maraform® and blasted products. We also support sustainable construction by supplying carbon-reduced steel.
